Except that FreedomDisc sounds a bit corny. Remember Freedom Fries
instead of French Fries?

Let me try and combine some ideas:
1. Geeky (use and algorithim to create name)
2. Refer back to OpenDisc
3. Modifiable by target group
4. Has a decent Acronym

So I think we can take OD from Open Disc, and S from students so the
name is OD+x+S where x is based on course name.

this gives us:
IT students: ODITS (which sound like Odd Bits)
Engeering: ODEngS (which could sound like Odd Ends)
Educ studs.: ODEduS (which sounds like nothing but is OK)

And then we could be boringly democratic and have a poll :-(

Philip

P.S. I still prefer my original FreeCoder idea, but we could come up
with a 12 and 1 alternatives: "Alumni Freedom Disc" "Open Developer
Disc" "Free IT Toolkit" (Uff kemm int FITT) "Learn Freedom" "Code
Liberation Kit" etc... etc... :-)
