Guys, On Monday I'm leaving to go study in the Netherlands, so this is to say Ta Ta. Since I have a post on the board, I guess it is only reasonable that I give it up, since I will not be in Malta. So the board will have to co-opt someone to fill in my place. I hope you will all rush in and offer you help. I will still try and follow this list to see what is going on, and if no one has any objections, I will keep my editor rights on the blog, so I will try and find time to help where I can remotely. But sadly, I will not sit with the only compaq in a sea of thinkpads trying to connect to the excelsior wi-fi from across the water for a while!
Any way, If the guys of the board need to sort anything out you know where to find me, otherwise, I had pledged some money (was 10 or 20) to the cd duplication project. I am not running away from the country to avoid that debt, but I will give it in cash to the first one of you who comes to visit. BTW I'm not sure what the CD for IT students project arrived at, but if we give it a good push maybe we can pull it off by October, just the right time. I think we should try and get sponsorship for it from one of the bookshops on or around campus. I know some of them like to support student initiatives, and they can use it as PR. Buy any IT book form us and get a CD full of free software. Cheers, Philip, (and the hunt for Dutch penguins) _______________________________________________ MLUG-list mailing list [email protected] http://linux.org.mt/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mlug-list
