Possible topics :

1. About the FSF and its philosophy.
2. Popular alternatives to proprietary software
3. An article about what constitutes a distribution, and what kinds of
distros are out there? Ubuntu, Red Hat, Mandriva, specialist distros,
promote the versatility of Linux.
4. An article about the economics of OSS versus proprietary software in
the EU : http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20070112-8606.html
5. A beginner guide to Linux? Describe how to get Ubuntu, burn it, and
install it, perhaps with wubi/or the live cd install. Garnish with links
from the Ubuntu wiki and serve.

6. An article targeting students, in light of the OpenDisc project.
Target the IT students with programming tools, etc, and perhaps even the
other sectors.
7. An article about the MLUG itself and its goals? Gets more ppl in the
organisation, perhaps?
8. History of Linux? I recall Anton was working on some sort of article
once.
