I think that kind of tutorial is more suitable for the web/magazine
instead of the Times, especially the newsprint format.

How about an article on how to use Ubuntu, perhaps in the form of a FAQ?

Q : How do I read my email?
A : Use Evolution from Applications, bla, bla, bla, or else use
Add/Remove to install Thunderbird

Q : How do I create Word documents?
A : Use Open Office..etc, etc

Q : How do I browse the web?
A : Use Firefox..if that doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the
internet..

And then as a catch-all, provide our list link so that if anybody wants
to ask questions in Maltese, we can answer..
