i have a creative something at home, which is quite old. I remember that in
ubuntu 5.04 and before it wasnt supported at all and i had tried getting
through to creative to get a linux driver to no avail. then i upgraded to
ubuntu 6.04 and it magically worked perfectly. most webcams you buy should
work, try look up the model on the internet before tho
