Google Earth 5 has just been released. I remove 4.3 then installed. There was the glitch as 'Tombuntu" said but it was quickly fixed. It now works great! For installation info go to: http://tombuntu.com/index.php/2009/03/20/how-to-install-google-earth-5-on-ubuntu/
Bye the way I trashed my system using 'Synaptic' to remove some remaining old Kernels. Just used the /system backup I have on a separate partition and we are now up and running again. he! he!
