How is it even worth it trying to transliterate Ubuntu into Maltese? Your
time could be better spent elsewhere.

A long time ago I had translated a big part of KDE into Maltese. The
problem
I found was that they have to be maintained continuously, as more strings
are added to the applications and more applications are added, and I ended
up doing everything myself.
Perhaps a more useful task right now would be to integrate the Maltese
spell
checker into OpenOffice.org.
