I have decided to replace my GO-supplied modem/wireless router with one which does not have a back-door administrator account to which I have no access.
So... does anybody have one for sale? If not, what specs should I be looking for on eBay? I know it should support PPPoE, but what about ADSL/ADSL2/ADSL2+? Any other tips? ------ Incidentally, to anybody who has a go.com broadband modem, you should be aware that go.com has an administrator user account on your modem to which they will not give you access, and which constitutes a potential security breach for your whole home network. I'm not sure if this is the case with non-wireless modems as well. GO.com's engineers have instituted a new policy of not resetting this password on request. Ramon Casha
