we have some 8 machines running on xen in production at the moment at work.
if you need any help ask. Tbh it works well with simple setups altho xen can
be quite picky with which kernel versions it runs well and with which it
doesn't. (we've seen performance differences of up to 10 seconds for a
simple wget between one kernel version and another)

I'v been testing kvm lately on my laptop as a replacement and it appears to
perform better tbh.
