Long since my last post.
Anyway, I see you are looking for a new "love"; why don't you try out
Slack(ware)? Stable, as fast as you want (almost), classical, not to mention it
is one of the oldest distros. And not last, if you want to customize it and
make your own distribution, I think there is a script to do this.
I am going well with it since 3.2, but now I make it with Xfce and it rocks!
