In my experience we normally don't vote on such issues. We can discuss such issues either through the coming monthly meeting or through the mailing list and then taking the decision as a group. I think, being a Linux group, we always leave plenty of room for discussion and choices. Everybody has to feel totally free. Now regarding the facebook group I'm all out in favour of such a group if we wish to reach the the common man/woman in the street.
