Dear All,

During last Saturday’s AGM the idea was floated that the monthly meetings
should be replaced by monthly workshops/lectures. We are currently in
discussions with a local training provider who will be sponsoring us a class
once a month for us to hold workshops in. These workshops will be of an
advanced nature, some topics we discussed are below:

How to setup a web server.
How to setup mail server.
How to harden Apache.
IPv6.
How to setup a game server.
LVM.
Android development.
Raspberry Pi.
How to setup a Linux cloud.
Introduction to open-source development.
Tutorial on VI.
GIT.
Tutorial on Windows cross compilation.

The topics will be delivered by MLUG members, guests from the training provider
and maybe even external guests.

What do you think?

Please give us feedback in the form of:

1. Ideas for more sessions.
2. Volunteering yourself to give a session.
3. Any other feedback you may have!

Thanks,

Keith Vassallo
MLUG Secretary
