L'événement *Ubuntu Global Jam* est une opportunité incroyable où les
membres de la communauté Ubuntu se réuniront lors du weekend du 2, 3 et
4 octobre 2009. Les événements Ubuntu Global Jam sont des fins de
semaine organisées autour du monde par des contributeurs et des fans
d'Ubuntu, où les groupes LoCo s'aident à écrire de la documentation,
découvrir, trier et réparer des bugs et tester la prochaine version
d'Ubuntu. Ces événements sont également accompagnés de présentations sur
divers sujets. Cet événement aidera à unir les efforts de la communauté
afin d'améliorer Ubuntu. Cette activité, bien que centrée sur
l'amélioration d'Ubuntu, n'est pas qu'ouverte aux développeurs.
N'importe qui peut contribuer au Jam et tout le monde y est le bienvenu.
C'est votre chance de faire la différence.
Cet évènement a 6 thèmes:
* Bugs - trouver, trier et réparer des bugs.
* Essais - Essai de la nouvelle version et les rapports de vos
commentaires.
* Documentation - la rédaction de la documentation d'Ubuntu et de la
communauté.
* Traductions - traduction d'Ubuntu, contribuant à rendre disponible
en langue locale.
* Installations - aider les nouveaux utilisateurs a installer Ubuntu.
* Présentations - partage des connaissances sur des sujets variés.

The Ubuntu Global Jam event is an incredible opportunity where members
of the Ubuntu community will meet during the weekend of the 2nd, 3rd and
4th of October 2009. The Ubuntu Global Jam event is organised around the
world to happen on the same days. These events are led by local Ubuntu
contributors, fans and users tied together by local communities (called
LoCo <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCo> Teams). At the event, there will be
many things to do including writing documentation, discovering,
reporting and triaging bugs as well as testing the next version of
Ubuntu. There will also be many talks/presentations regarding different
technological subjects. This event will help to unite community efforts
in a goal to improve the quality of Ubuntu system and software. This
activity, although centred around making Ubuntu better, is not only open
to developers. Anyone who would like to contribute or learn is welcome
to attend. Here is your chance to make a difference.
This event has 6 themes:
* Bugs - finding, triaging and fixing bugs.
* Testing - testing the new release and reporting your feedback.
* Documentation - writing documentation about how to use Ubuntu and
how to join the community.
* Translations - translating Ubuntu and helping to make it available
in everyone's local language.
* Installations - helping new users install ubuntu.
* Presentations - sharing knowledge on diverse subjects.
