A few years ago I purchased a Linksys dw-g810 access point which has since died.
Can I take a wireless router that I have as a spare (netgear), and by plugging
into one of the 4 ports in the rear, make it an access point?
If yes, I guess I must disable the firewall, the dhcp, and dns, as the wireless
router to which it is connected would do that job.
Has anyone done this. The reason I want to do it is twofold.
No wireless card in the systemWired connection to the man system is difficult
