You're right Jeremy about convergence and I can't wait for LG to start selling that refrigerator with the high resolution screen, integrated wi-fi networking and optical reader! How can I survive till then???
It's true that when one gets their first digital camera, you just click away like there's no tomorrow but after a while, you go back to your normal habits. And yes, thanks Linus or Linux for loads of things that are slowly but surely changing the way people perceive software and other things. I used to swear by Adobe and PhotoShop but said enough is enough with CS3. It just ends up costing you more and more in the long run. So I bit down hard and learnt GIMP, ShowFoto, RawTherapee and others after years of Adobe and I'm much happier about it.
