Slashdot had some intense comments describing ACTA trying to make open 
source illegal in the USA and elsewhere, because it kills innovation and 
profit.  They are working hard at convincing  England to start first.

As you must realize, the simple  For ...  Endfor   loop or the 
equivalent (while, endwhile, do, enddo) in every programming language 
will have a patent somewhere if they can get it to happen.
