If its really occasional, i'd say go with a bounce through Amazon AWS:EC2
services. Prepare an instance and using it, on-demand, will not cost you
that much.

 -  a micro instance is 0.02$ USD / hrs
 - about 14$/month for full time 'access', if you don't want to wait for it
to start
 - and it goes down to 0.007$/hrs if you pay the 'reservation fee of
54$/years'. Do your math..
 - Using Spot instances is also interesting...
