I used the Fedora software to create a bootable USB drive. It  takes as an 
argument, the ISO image of an operating system.

As far as Fedora or Ubuntu goes, once the system is booted from the flash 
drive, I would like to have some updates that I applied to the memory image to 
also update the USB image.  Is that a possibility?
 
Typical desire is to add or update a few (not all) modules/applications, and 
then exit gracefully.

Can I do it with the tools that exist?
