Not going to work, and if it does, it will crash.

Your options:

1. Put a small VM running Windows and RDP
2. Get the vSphere CLI, you can do most things from the command line
3. Install vMA which is a small Linux VM with the CLI and all necessary tools
4. There is a Ruby command line management thing that you can use
5. Wait for ESX 5
