Hi all, Thanks for the replies, Andy, Stefan, and Hendrik. Apologies for the delay in reply; it and the problem of which I posted have the same ultimate cause. I'm scrambling to get everything in order for a move to Cairo in less than a week. I saw Andy's suggestion to run the commands under sudo and felt foolish. I so ran. I then felt really puzzled, as there was no change. Retracing my steps, I saw that while I had *tried* to install the required debian-keyring package, my connection had knocked over mid-download and I didn't actually have the dependancy. Once that was installed, all worked as described on the mozilla.debian.net page while run without sudo (save the last step 'gpg --export -a 06C4AE2A | sudo apt-key add -'). So, I'm back to feeling foolish and all is right in the world :-) Best, Brian Thanks again, Brian vdB _______________________________________________ mlug mailing list [email protected] https://listes.koumbit.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mlug-listserv.mlug.ca
