My personal Linux desktop system has been relocated, and it is not logically possible for me to drill holes through cement walls for a wired connection. I can however, with my laptop work quite well with a wireless connection which suggests that a linux connection would be ok as well..
I also tried an external wireless usb adapter, with windows drivers, but no linux drivers. It works with XP but I did not find Linux drivers. Ergo, the next solution is to install a wireless card. But where can I determine if the wireless card is linux supported. Can you recommend a card or a site? ------------------ Regards Leslie Mr. Leslie Satenstein 50 years in IT and going strong.
