Am I the only one who finds this thread somewhat pointless? I mean I am all for linux support if they made some custom app that was the only way to access your banking info online hell yeah I would need and want it. But in this day an age banks are using web technologies which to them means cross platform and the majority of them stick to the popular standards which Linux supports pretty much across the board. Now to look for a bank that expressly supports Linux is next to impossible in my opinion. The whole push for cross platform technologies is to exactly avoid singling out a demographic. But having worked at a bank for many years I can almost assure you that nobody is developing for linux desktops specifically, Maybe iphone Android and blackberry but that is where they draw the line, Till the next new must have mind share device comes out. _______________________________________________ mlug mailing list [email protected] https://listes.koumbit.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mlug-listserv.mlug.ca
