Last night I tried to install the 64bit version.  It hung up with keyboard
select. Then on a restart it hung up a little further along.  Never succeeded.

I returned and for a netbook computer, installed the 32bit version.  This
version is flakey. I had to change the hostname to xxx.yyy  format, and also
change hosts entry for 127.0.0.1 to match.

After that I was able to install dropbox.  I want to know if anyone installed
11.10 with a better human interface.
If you start multiple launchers, you may find the system locking up if you
happen to close them in some different sequence.

Anyone compare UBUNTUs freee 5 gigs of memory space to that of Dropbox,
neglecting size differences (5gig vs 2 gig)?

I somehow think that UBUNTU will be a bigger target, and I am concerned about
hacking and data corruption.

Solitare works :)

No question a recent "upgrade" (on auto pilot; really, I trusted
Canonical) did the damage. OS was stable for months in terms of the TCP
connections.

  Server is running.
Best to wait a month before jumping into Ubuntu, unless you just
