I needed a new system, found a very nice quad core desktop machine at Best Buy, at a deal.
I realized that it used hdmi output at 1080p, so, I sprung for a NewEgg 1080p monitor. Monster cables were proposed at around $40.00, however Dollarama had equivalents for $2.00 yes two bucks. Rossy, another store that is around had the mouse at 5.99, the wireless mouse at 12.00, so and other deals. I completed purchasing the accessories from there. By the way, because of HDMI, I sprung for a Dynex TV at BB, also 1080p. They tried to convince me to go for the name brand (+200 more), but I am delighted with the Dynex. It is used as a monitor for Bell services, and for the laptop. (At Rossy, I bought 6 foot hdmi cables for under $10.00) No, I did not purchase extra insurances. ------------------ Regards Leslie Mr. Leslie Satenstein 50 years in IT and going strong.
