While there is no definite date for when the Steam client and the
game Left 4 Dead 2 will be available to Linux users, at least we
know there's a lot of progress and that Valve is actually hiring
Linux programmers to work on the platform.
Personally, I'm looking forward to all those indie games I bought
that already have a Linux client that is not currently available
through Steam. (The many Humble Indie Bundles for example)
