Yes, we are authenticating  Linux, Mac and Windows clients to a Samba 4 
domain/AD. (actually 3 domains servers)

- Linux clients are a mix of Ubuntu 10.4 and 12.04, servers and workstations. 
The client software is Centrify.
- Mac clients I've used Centrify but on new clients I use the built in AD 
support.
- Windows clients we have XP, Vista and 7. You can even have GPO.

Just follow Samba4 Howto and no special tweaks.
You can use the new "samba-tool" command to administer, but I recommend to have 
a Windows client with AD administrative tools installed.
