I have been using Steam on Linux for some time now. They ironed out a few annoyance I had with it last week and it feels really good. I've stopped buying games with no Linux support and the time I spend on Windows has been cut considerably.
It's pretty awesome to be playing Half-Life natively on Linux. I was surprised that they ported that old engine. Games from the Humble Bundle are also being added albeit slowly. Once Dota 2 is ported, this could be really interesting for Linux. Dota 2, a free to play game can currently peak at 250 000 concurrent users daily. -- Ravnox On Thu, 14 Feb 2013 14:10:54 -0500 Jeremy <[email protected]> wrote: > Just FYI :) > > http://store.steampowered.com/sale/linux_release/ > > Jer > _______________________________________________ > mlug mailing list > [email protected] > https://listes.koumbit.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mlug-listserv.mlug.ca _______________________________________________ mlug mailing list [email protected] https://listes.koumbit.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mlug-listserv.mlug.ca
