I have been using Steam on Linux for some time now. They ironed out a
few annoyance I had with it last week and it feels really good. I've
stopped buying games with no Linux support and the time I spend on
Windows has been cut considerably.

It's pretty awesome to be playing Half-Life natively on Linux. I was
surprised that they ported that old engine. Games from the Humble
Bundle are also being added albeit slowly. Once Dota 2 is ported, this
could be really interesting for Linux. Dota 2, a free to play game
can currently peak at 250 000 concurrent users daily.
