I was trying to start something for people in the west island (long time ago, I did Linux-Meetup in Valleyfield and Vaudreuil but it was too far for some people). Also, for people in Montreal downtown, there is a Linux-Meetup : http://www.agendadulibre.qc.ca/event/542/ Last time, we were around 10 people at the MOE'S resto. We were in a room at the end of the resto (I leave a sign indicating that at the entrance).
