The positive point is that it needs social engineering to spread it. This is not the first trojan for linux and won't be the last one. I think it doesn't mean that Linux isn't a secure system. The point is: The human remains the critical point. In fact, this trojan is quite complex and can fool even anti-vĂrus engines that create environments "dummy" or "faked" to deceive the operations of the trojan. This one can detect that it is in an environment like these and do not operate as intended. So, it will only "work for real" when it sees that it's a real environment.
