Hi, you might also want to have a look to mrtg-sys. Simple, does what you look for : http://guide.ovh.com/InstallMRTGSys
On a standalone server that idealy serve html content, this is perfect. AlexPhilippe Nocq <[email protected]> a écrit :HI Yes MRTG is good for this and CACTI is a frontend that made the same thing with RDDTool (a C++ mrtg). For me this is the best and if you put it in a VM it would be nice. You can try ipfm (IP flow meter) http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/hardy/man8/ipfm.8.html a nice thing also, and I know that in Germeny some people use this to know the traffic in and out on web site... But for me CACTI is the simple and teh best to manage. Take a look at a pluging to have the 95%tile... Have fun Phil 2013/11/20 <[email protected]> Hello everyone, I'm looking for a tool that can display the amount of data(IN and OUT) transferred daily, monthly, and yearly, on each port of a SNMP network switch. I'm using Nagios, but I couldn't find anything related to that there. I'm also running MRTG, but I'm not looking at manually calculating monthly usage while using the average load. Any suggestions? At this point, I'm starting to wonder if I need to write a Perl script to fetch and compile the data. I read a little about Cacti but that seems like a big solution for just a simple need, and it wasn't clear to me if it would only display the network load, instead of the monthly usage.
