This focuses more on the Systems Administration aspect of ICT. Development and the whole eco system that supports the creation of software managment strcture are not technicians. They may be called Software Engineers or Developers (or DevOps if you do dev and admin) but it is still creation of software which has not yet been completely co-opted by engineering and it is much more than a technician's job.
I suspect there are more sysadmins and net admins on this list than developers so it skews the feedback. Any devs out there who want to chime in? (I have been employed as developer (applications), sysadmin, net architect, developer server side (telecom) and DevOps (telecom) in different jobs.
