Hello, I'd like to start playing with da Vinci, in particular with the java.dyn classes (InvokeDynamic, CallSite, MethodHandle, etc.)
They seem to be included in the more recent "Java Platform, Standard Edition 7 Binary Snapshot Releases" found at http://download.java.net/jdk7/binaries/. So I'm wondering if they are complete enough and usable or if I shall build Da Vinci from the Mercurial repos. I ask because, currently, I'm only interested in *using* da Vinci rather than developing for it. (The build process is not the funniest activity I can think of. I unsuccessfully tried 3 days on Vista and then finally managed to build OpenJDK once I switched to an Ubuntu 9.04 guest on VirtualBox/Vista. BTW, VirtualBox is really cool: great product for a great price ;-)) Thanks for all your kind replies Raffaello _______________________________________________ mlvm-dev mailing list [email protected] http://mail.openjdk.java.net/mailman/listinfo/mlvm-dev
