I'm getting into troubles with the binary snapshot, so I decided to build from the sources.
I once managed to build OpenJDK on Ubuntu 9.04/VirtualBox/Vista. Now, browsing through the building instructions found at http://wikis.sun.com/display/mlvm/Building I'm wondering what the dependencies between mlvm and the bsd-port are. According to this page, the repo is found at http://hg.openjdk.java.net/bsd-port/bsd-port so it seems at first sight that mlvm is currently targeted only at this platform. Am I wrong?
