I wanted to let people know that the HotSpot team is currently investigating the warmup performance regression when using invoke dynamic. We have several projects under way by multiple members of the team. Part of the work includes, autoboxing support, methodhandle profiling, lambda forms class sharing as well as other investigations that are still being discussed. If people have ideas, please share them on this alias. I'll also be more active on here in order to let the community know what projects are being worked on and what the status of the warmup regression is. Thanks.
