New Graduate Program
Responsibilities:
Attend introductory program conducted by Quality Management Services
(QMS) Department when the program starts.
Referring to New Graduate Development Program Guidelines and under the
supervision of appointed Host Department Mentor, undergo job rotation
and develop skills in several jobs in order to meet the professional
requirements of their fields.
Obtain understanding of Key Result Area set for participants in
accordance with PT Freeport Indonesia Performance Management System.
After 6 months participation in the program, discuss and agreed with
mentors, a project topic to be carried on by individual participant.
Under mentors' guidance, proceed with their projects and write a 5-
page project report.
Demonstrate ability to define problem and propose solution to problems
as well as implementation plan from the above project and report.
Demonstrate PT Freeport Indonesia's core competencies standards.
Write and submit weekly report to mentors. Note: through their weekly
reports, participants' will be assessed on their learning progress and
agility, as well as their ability to put thoughts in writing.
Attend bi-monthly review meeting. These review meetings are to be
attended by: Host Departments representatives, mentors, QMS � New
Graduate Coordinator, and the New Graduate Program participants.
Requirements:
On a university degree (S1/S2) program (in the last years of their
studies) or has university degree (S1/S2, maximum three years from
graduation), with minimum cumulative GPA of 2.80 from accredited and
recognized University in Indonesia or abroad or belong to the top 10%
of students / graduates.
Major of study: Mining Engineering / Metallurgy / Mechanical
Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Geology / Civil Engineering /
Computer Science / Industrial Engineering / Psychology / Business
Administration / Economics / Environmental / Chemistry / Forest
Conservation.
Meet requirements of standardized PTFI testing
High degree of tenacity / determination, fast learner, receptive to
feedback, has a passion for results, high level of integrity.
Have a high degree of analytical thinking, achievement orientation,
cultural sensitivity, team leadership, customer success orientation,
concern for safety and environment.
Comfortable living and working in a remote area with a unique social
environment, where thousands of people from diverse cultural
background are employed.
Good command of spoken and written English.
