Hello, I have started to use Mnemosyne recently. I like the idea behind spaced repetion very much.
If I understand it correctly, grade 4 is somewhere in the middle. It neither lengthens nor shortens the repetion interval. At the moment (when I am restarting learning German) I use grade 5 a lot. There are many basic words I (for completeness) enter in the database because occassionally I want to repeat them but using grade 5 is not satisfactory. I feel that I would like to gradually lengthen the repetion interval with a "greater speed". Is it somehow possible to configure Mnemosyne so that I could add grade such as 6 so that it would postpone repetition of a given word to at least the following month? I would also be interested what does it mean when I use grade 5. How (exactly) does it influence the repetion interval.
