Looking through programs to install I found scim-bridge-qt and scim-
bridge-qt4. Attempting to install resulted in the message 'Unable to
resolve dependencies scim-bridge 0.4.13-4.fc8' - this is needed for
both. Assuming this might work, any suggestions where to look for this
dependency file/program? (I installed scim-qtimm-0.9 ... described as
a SCIM input module for Qt, but this made no difference).

I also noticed R-click in an 'edit card' window in Mnemosyne allowed
me to choose SCIM input, but choosing that made no difference. (Since
SCIM input functions for other non-standard W European languages as
well, I wonder if resolving this will also resolve some of the other
input problems people have discussed here?)
