Hi, I have been using mnemosyne for about 2 months and it has been
fine. However earlier today my computer froze and I had to manually
turn it off. Upon turning it back on and turning on mnemosyne i got an
error message (cant remember what it said although i think it might
have been unable to load database), upon clicking ok I then got the
"either mnemosyne didn't shut down properly or another copy of
mnemosyne is still running" message. I then clicked continue and found
that I had no cards whatsoever (had about 8,000 or so) I have tried
with limited sucess to get my cards back but have just been able to
recover what i had put on a USB a while ago. When I try to open one of
my defaults i get a message
I
nvalid file format

Traceback(innermost last):
File "mnemosyne\core\mnemosyne_core.pyc", line 1012, in load_database
BadPickleGet: 577"

When loading a different smaller default it loads fine however it does
not load about 2000 flash cards. The 2000 cards it does not load are
especially important because they were each made personally and
represent alot of time I have spent over the past month creating. The
difference in database size is the one I cant load is 4.2 MB, the one
i can load is 3.5 MB also the one i cant load is in programs/
mnemosyne/.mnemosyne the one i can load is in programs/mnemosyne and
also in the myusername/.mnemosyne

Help would be enormously appreciated.
