Based on Peter's responses, I would like to recommend a free text editor for Windows users, to edit (or simply view) files that are produced in a UNIX-style environment.
The editor is EditPad Lite, and is recommended here: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-text-editor.htm Despite all its features, EditPad loads at the same speed as Notepad (which, in turn, is a lot faster than Wordpad). When you launch EditPad, there is a "Tip of the Day" window. You should browse through all the tips. I was amazed at some of the features, and I'm not normally an amazingable person :) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mnemosyne-proj-users" group.
