I just recently started using Mnemosyne but it happened to me when I first started using Mnemosyne with a USB key. I probably removed the drive while the Mnemosyne files were in an inconsistent state. After that I make sure to "Eject" the key and wait a couple seconds before removing it.
Such a labor intensive and long-term project as making Mnemosyne cards it would be hard to overemphasize the importance of backing up. (I keep my cards in three places other than the key.) -- Ben ----------------- Original message ----------------- From: Tony <[email protected]> To: mnemosyne-proj-users <[email protected]> Date: Sat, 20 Jun 2009 05:01:50 -0700 (PDT) After I restarted my linux system I started mnemosyne and all my cards were gone. What happened? Has this happened to anyone before? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mnemosyne-proj-users" group.
