Well, Peter, when you go on vacation, we have to try and solve things
ourselves! I kept at it and found a good message chain when I
searched for 'lost cards'. Following your suggestion there, I opened
Mnemosyne (which opened the mysterious _TMP_ file and then went to
file - open - found default.mem and voila! there they were. I would
like to know where the _TMP_ file came from when you get a free
moment...
