David,

Was working on a backlog of cards so I wasn't able to test out what
you mentioned. Very sorry for the delay.

It is true that it usually takes a while for the new ones to start to
get added in, but eventually they do. Perhaps Peter could comment on
this and tell me if I am off the mark. I disabled learning new cards
in random order and the shuffle queue plugin and I thought I got the
same result eventually.

Interesting. I never noticed that. I'm not sure why I would want to
limit myself to just those few cards. That would seem to force you to
give them passing grades if you wanted to move on to other cards.
Seems like the setting for number of 0 cards to hold in hand should be
the way to control that. Am I missing something?

This would be fine if indeed it wasn't mixing old and new cards like I
think mine is. And if at the end of the day you still had cards with
"memorization pending" how would it be dealt with the following day?
Because you could have both types at once then. Two counters? Oy!
Poor status bar. But that's all I can think of.

Would "Learning" be more accurate than "memorization pending"? It's a
tough one.

I want to emphasize that I appreciate the plug in as is and the work
you have put into it. I just want you to know how it behaves the way
I use Mnemosyne.
