Hi Lark,
It sounds like you are most likely using Windows so in fact you have
downloaded and installed precisely the correct file and do not need
the other two. the .tgz file is for Linux and the .Intel.dmg file is
for Mac. I have to agree that the interface on Sourceforge is not very
user friendly, perhaps there is something the webmaster can do about
it.
