Hello, I have been using Mnemosyne for a long time, but then left it for months without using it. Today I wanted to use it again, but when I tried to open it a window popped up and said "Either Mnemosyne didn't shut down properly, or another copy of the program is still running. Continuing in the latter case could lead to data loss!" (which is weird because neither of this was true). There are two choices: either to "exit" or to "continue". I clicked on "Continue", and another window that said "Unable to load database. Creating tmp file." with a red circle and an X inside it popped up.
I tried uninstalling the program and installed it again, but that didn't help. Turning off the computer and turning it on again (not restart) didn't help either. Can anyone please tell me what's wrong, and how should I fix it?
