Hi,

This isn't a feature request for the core program, so I'm posting it
here for general discussion.

I realized today that it might be useful to gauge the "maturity" of a
deck by combining every card's statistics to calculate the median and
the average number of days until the next repetition.

We might expect these sorts of patterns:

New deck: Very low median and average times to next repetition

Old deck which has not had additions over time: High median and
average times to next repetition

Old but "evolving" deck which had new content added regularly: High
average but mid-range median times

It could be interesting to compare these metrics against user
performance, e.g. what percentage of cards has received which grade,
what the median and average easiness ratings are, how well the user
complies with a daily studying schedule, etc.

I feel like these sorts of calculations and comparisons could be made
either by a general "Deck Statistics" plugin or by a 3rd-party program
which would parse the data in the default.mem file to create a
statistics report. This could also be done manually by importing an
XML file into a spreadsheet program and running calculations on the
relevant cells, though that would require a lot of user effort.

Any thoughts/opinions/suggestions on this topic?
