Just install the font "AR PL UKai" that has nearly every kanji in unicode. And
what's best its a kaishu font.

Objet: [mnemosyne-proj-users] Chinese character font issues

I'm using mnemosyne to memorize kanjis in Japanese and some vocabulary
in Chinese. The issue I'm having is that, whatever font I use, some
variant of Chinese character doesn't come out correctly. For instance,
when I use MS Gothic or similar fonts, kanjis come out correctly but
some (or all, can't remember) of the simplified Chinese characters
come out as black square dot. Is there any specific way or a font I
could use to resolve this? I wouldn't mind the ugliest font ever as
long as it's readable :(

Running mnemosyne on Ubuntu 9.10 UTF-8 locale.
