I did not write the SM import myself, so I don't know how good it is.
There have been some reports of problems in the past if your cards
contain html formatting though.

This might be your biggest stumbling block, and it could be that you
need to improve the importer code.

No. Perhaps in 2.x, but it's not very high priority.

You can deactivate cards having a certain category. In the current 2.0
development code, this is much easier, as each card can have more than
1 category/tag, and deactivating cards can happen based on arbitrary
criteria.

> and another for history) Possible in mnemosyne ?

Yes, but not recommended. Certainly for 2.0, the recommended paradigm
is to have all your cards in a single database, and then activate/
deactivate cards if you only want to study a certain subset. This way,
much more comprehensive statistical graphs can be display without
requiring a huge number of mouse clicks from the user.

You could indeed start the question or the answer with a certain
string, so that they show up together when you sort the deck by
question or answer. For 2.0, it's cleaner to use tags for this.

Yep.

In 1.x, there is switch in the txt configuration file to left align,
not right... In 2.0, you can pick any alignment, and even have
different alignments for different types of cards.

> order etc)

Not without editing the database behind Mnemosyne's back. I would
certainly not recommend doing so.

You're welcome!
