Hi

I encountered the same problem during holidays: When I wanted to save or close the programm running on a usb stick it freezed. I just checked, but I have the latest version and my usb stick isn't write protected. I didn't try again, because it was really annoying last time.

Looking forward knowing how to solve the problem...

Marion.

Hi,

Normally, you shouldn't need to save, as saving happens automatically.

Some things you might want to consider:

* make sure you have the latest version
* make sure you did not accidentally write protect your usb key
* make sure your directories don't contain non latin characters
* if you have Mnemosyne installed both on the computer's hard drive
and on a USB key, make sure to launch the program from the USB key if
you don't want to end up with two separate sets of data :-)

Cheers,

Peter

Hello! I've been using mnemosyne for a few months now, in that time
I've memorised the most common 3000 Spanish words, and this semester
at university I'm taking French also. My problem is! I've never had to
run mnemosyne on more than one computer, but now summer (in the
southern hemisphere ;) holidays are over, I'm moving back into the
city and so far my efforts running mnemosyne off a USB have failed.
I've followed all the instructions on the website and do have it
working on other computerse, my problem is that whenever I try to save
what I've done, the program freezes, and I can't get further than
that. Which, as you will all know, sucks.

Has anyone encountered with problem before, or have any suggestions
for dealing with it? Would be much appreciated
Cheers,
Nathan
