hii..
this is my first day at this community...:
im preparing fr my medical speciality exam nd luckily came to know
about mnemosyne...i felt great using it...aftr trying it fr 2-3 days i
felt i shud now make mnemosyne my primary study aid....i started
loading my cards nd ....
today morning i was loading my cards nd
the power supply was gone...i switched on the system aftr an hour nd
clicked on the mnemosyne icon...it doesnt start....it just shows the
message..."EITHER MNEMOSYNE DIDNT SHUT DOWN PROPERLY,OR ANOTHER COPY
OF MNEMOSYNE IS STILL RUNNING.CONTINUING IN THE LATTER CASE COULD LEAD
TO DATA LOSS"
so what am i supposed to do now?...plz help me bcos now my preparation
got stucked...nd exam is fast approaching....150days to go...plz help
me...
i hav one more question...if i hav to save my cards..i read that the
mnemosyne directory in documents nd settings/user is to b saved...my
doubt is...the folder is not even 1mb...so how can it save say some
500 cards...the history folder is empty...the backups folder is
showing some kbs...nd the mnemosyne folder in program files is showing
some 14mb...sowhere actually is the data saved...nd which folder am i
supposed to save as backup in my pendrive??
im sorry fr bothering u...but im in to medical nd so dont know much
abt computers..drives etc..im sorry fr the trouble again..but plz do
help me..
