It would be good to understand how this may have happened.
I'm not sure if it's relevant but my workflow is usually as follows.
My mnemosyne data is held on a computer called 'kitchen' (guess where I
keep that one). My .mnemosyne directory is located in a:
kitchen:/home/dougie/office/.mnemosyne
I use a lot of images in my cards and they are all referenced with
relative pathnames in the cards.
I normally run mnemosyne from my laptop or another desktop. I have a
wrapper script that mounts the kitchen drive and I use the -d flag in
mnemosyne to point at the correct place.
I would recommend holding onto your backup file for a few days and
paying attention to which cards you review and to the future schedule
(particularly across imports and exports), just in case.
I get my wrapper script to do a backup at the beginning of each startup
so ok there. But I'll probably not use the mobile version in anger just
yet. I'm more likely to use the 'Learning ahead of Schedule' if I get
some unexpected spare time when out and about and continue doing most of
the reviewing on the desktop.
